Meet Our Team
With over 25 years’ experience as a NJ and NY licensed clinical social worker, I provide counseling to individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, and Relationship Challenges.
In addition to being a compassionate and competent therapist, I also teach graduate level social work students as a Part Time Lecturer at Rutgers University–New Brunswick campus. On a statewide level, I’ve presented clinical workshops at the NASW-NJ statewide conference to behavioral health practitioners speaking on the topic of Couples Counseling Through a Socio-Cultural and Economic Lens & Competing Power Dynamics Among Couples.
I am a personable empath who employs a myriad of thinking and sensing faculties to provide a unique, interactive, and genuine experience to the clients I work with. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and designed to mimic the multiplicity of living a full and often challenging life, which must include both comedy and drama in the exploration of current challenges as they are and as we perceive them.
I am a Certified Clinical Supervisor offering clinical supervision to LSWs and independent clinical consultation to practicing therapists.
My family consists of my husband of 15 years and my 19 year old stepdaughter. When I’m not working, you can find me in any cozy place, preferably with sunlight, comfortably curled reading a book and cat napping.

Falasade Harris has been a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) for over three years and a certified School Counselor for ten years in the state of New Jersey. She specializes in working with young adults and women with an emphasis on black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC). Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, life transitions, and personal development.
How do you become a better version of yourself? That is the question she wants to help you find the answer to. There are many challenges we face throughout our lives, which can impact us greatly. As a counselor, Falasade wants to help you navigate these challenges and move forward on the journey to becoming the best version of yourself.
While difficult times are not always avoidable, how we react to them will determine how we are able to move beyond them. She utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help examine how the beliefs you may have about yourself and your external world impact behavior.
When Falasade is not counseling, she enjoys all things beauty (especially hair styling), cooking, reading, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones. She is always striving for peace, gratitude, and growth.
