Dr. Amml Hussein (she/her) is a seasoned social worker, educator, and researcher with over 12 years of practice experience in several domains including medical social work, utilization management, complex managed care, psychiatric crisis stabilization, curriculum and instruction, and instructional design.
Dr. Hussein is also a full time Assistant Professor at the Temple University College of Public Health, School of Social Work where she is a lead course instructor in Human Behavior in the Social Environment and Seminar in Social Work Practice. Dr. Hussein also teaches across the social work curriculum including Research Methods, Theory Informed Direct Practice, and Integrative Seminar. Dr. Hussein has chaired Symposium and Conference Paper Panels for the Eastern Psychological Association during the annual conference.
When she is not working, Dr. Hussein enjoys aromatherapy and meditation.
