Allan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marital and Family Systems Therapist. He obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology from Seton Hall University. Allan began his clinical experience working with individual, family, couples and group therapy with clients experiencing a variety of issues related to anxiety, depression and anger management.  In addition, Allan has worked in a variety of settings from community based mental health facilities, psychiatric facilities, neuroscience practices and private practice. Allan combines ego psychology with behavioral therapy and motivational interview to strengthen the inner core of self-esteem to help individuals, marriages and families experience an elevated sense of cohesion and harmony.

Allan enjoys working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.  Allan practices from a social justice lens and is very adept and facilitating increase awareness, insights and confidents in his client population. He has been an active member on the State Board of the ACLU and Alfred Adler Society.

I have a special interest in treating clients with a variety of Mood Disorders, Adjustment Issues, and experiencing challenges with anger, conflict resolution, and  self-esteem issues.

When he is not working, Allan enjoys spending his time with his wife, watching sports, viewing politics and honoring his religious faith.
