Background & Experience

I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. My experience includes providing supportive individual counseling and facilitating psychoeducational groups for clients navigating behavioral health concerns, emotional distress, unhealthy coping patterns, lack of motivation, and challenges with daily functioning. My clinical work is informed by person centered care, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, CBT informed interventions, and trauma informed practice.

How We'll Work Together

Our work together will be collaborative, supportive, and guided by what feels most important for you to address. I create space for clients to talk through emotions, relationship patterns, coping patterns, and presenting stressors without feeling judged or rushed. Sessions may include reflection, emotional processing, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and practical coping strategies to support daily functioning. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, increase self awareness, and feel more connected to their ability to make meaningful changes in their lives.

You can expect a warm, respectful, and supportive space where your experiences are met with care. Sessions are conversational and intentional, with room for reflection, practical support, laughter, and space to experience whatever emotions come up in the moment. I aim to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling supported in working toward growth and change.

I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even when it feels uncomfortable. Clients who may benefit from my approach are often seeking a supportive space to process emotions, better understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and feel more grounded in their daily lives. My style is a good fit for clients who value warmth, honesty, collaboration, and a therapeutic space that allows room for both reflection and real-life application.
